Flite Fest 2026 Pilot Passes

Please review all Flight Rules carefully. Due to the event being held at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, some rules and procedures differ from those at previous Flite Fest events.

Important Pilot Pass Info

  • Anyone ages 10 and older who plans to fly at Flite Fest 2026 must have their own Pilot Pass.
  • Kids ages 9 and younger receive a FREE Pilot Pass when accompanied by a parent or guardian who has purchased a Pilot Pass.
  • Kids 13 years and under must be accompanied by an Adult at the Main Flight Field

What does a Pilot Pass include?

Besides making you look even cooler than you already do, your Pilot Pass gives you access to the Main Flite Fest Flying Area and pilot activities (combat, night flying, wacky races, and more). Pilots must wear their Pilot Pass lanyard at all times while at the Main Flying Field.

Do I need a Pilot Pass for STEM activities?

No. We make it simple! Those attending FT STEM classes and flying in the STEM flight area with (EZ aircraft only) do not need to purchase a Pilot Pass. You only need a Pilot Pass if you plan to fly your EZ’s or any other electric airplane on the main flight line. (which you'll probably want to do after STEM activities).

Do I have to purchase my Pilot Pass before the event?

Nope! Pilot Passes may be purchased onsite during Flite Fest. We know many attendees arrive planning to watch and end up wanting to fly, so we make it easy to join in. However, purchasing your pass in advance helps speed up check-in and gets you to the flight line faster.

Where do I pick up my Pilot Pass and Lanyard?

You can pick them up at the Camping Registration gate or the Event Entrance. During pickup, staff will verify that all mandatory waivers have been completed. If waivers have not been signed prior to arrival, they must be completed before Pilot Passes can be released.
